the best begginer books in ASP.NET?

Hi ASP.NET Experts;

Just wanted to know the best begginer books of ASP.NET

Thank you

I really like pro asp.net 3.5 in c#2008. I think it would be OK for a beginner at asp.net, thought not a beginner at programming.

I would recommend the following:

Learning ASP.NET 2.0 with AJAX http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/9780596513979/

Essential ASP.NET

http://www.amazon.com/Essential-ASP-NET-Examples-Microsoft-Development/dp/0201760401

-- I love this book.There is a version for 2.0 also

You might want to review the books section at asp.net:

Also, consider throwing in a good Dictionary. It's "Beginner" - with one "g" and two "n"'s.

Books by Apress are always good.

You can have a look at www.blueportal.org if you are interested in ebooks.

The O'Reilley books usually have a free sample chapter as a PDF. They can be viewed online if you take out a Safari subscription.
